April 28,2010 Walter H. and Friends Steve and Rodney Enjoyed  The Spring Lake Calcasieu Flounder Run!!! The day started with a bang! Steve cast a corky along the rocks in the ship channel and a 3 # Red Exploded on it before it moved 6 inches!!!! We then headed south to find some nice Big Lake Flounder and Reds willing to take our Gulps. It was after lunch before the tide got moving good and the Trout and some really nice flounder bit hot & heavy! But by the end we had a nice cooler full of Big Lake Slasms!!!!!!
