I often get asked, “Do you take kids out on the boat?” The answer is yes. I think all kids should be taken fishing a lot more often than they are. The kids that are taken fishing are less likely to be troublemakers and a lot more likely to be successful in life.

If you remember back in February, Fishing Tom Guide Service was featured in this magazine for an article on Flounder fishing by John Felsher. In this months issue July a photo of me cleaning a beautiful Redfish as part of an article about choosing a charter service.
In September Fishing Tom Guide Service will be featured in an article about fishing the bayous and marshes between Calcasieu and Sabine by John Felsher. It will talk about all the different kinds of species of fish that you can catch there and how to catch them.

One of my dad’s favorite places to fish down here is Black Bayou. So on day 2 we went there. We limited out on black bass and caught a few others.

Dad came back to Hackberry Louisiana for some saltwater action. We caught lots of trout, but someone else wanted a part of our catch.

Capt. Devin took this family out to Lake Calcasieu for a wonderful fishing adventure. It was nonstop action and a lot of big Redfish. They will definitely come back to Hackberry to do this again!
