Mitch and Pat have been longtime friends with many adventures together. I was privileged to hear about their hunting and fishing adventures and other stories that will never leave the boat. This is one of the things I love about my job.

As you know, I stay booked up taking all of you out on amazing fishing adventures. However, when I get a couple days off, Christy wants to have fun catching fish just like everyone else. I don’t know if its luck or skill, but every time she goes out with me, she always catches really big fish.
A couple days ago she said I want to go catch a big trout like I did last year. Last year she caught her personal best 25-inch trout. Sept. 10. So, we head out that morning, we pull up to the first spot. We start to catch some small trout. Then, I promise she had made no more than 12 casts. She says, ” baby I got a good one, get the net. So, I hurry to get the net while she wrestles with the fish. I said, is it a red or a speck? she said I pretty sure it’s a trout. I said ok let’s land it.
It was definitely a speck. Very close to her PB she lands this beautiful 24-inch Speck. Luck or Skill? You decide.
