May 17,2011 James & Gloria H. Â Have a great Relaxing Day Catching Fish On Big Lake!!! Live Shrimp was the key to a nice mess of fish for this couple from Houston. They said it was one of the most pleasant days they have had on the water!

May 14, 2011 David R. , His Brother and Nephew Make First Trip to Big Lake a Winner!!! Started with a 3 # Trout om Topwater and soon the Reds were eating up live shrimp under a cork! Had a nice limit of Lake Calcasieu Bronze Beauties By 11 AM and went to Gulp and picked up 5 Big Lake Flatfish and 5 more reds we had to release. Plus 2 more Nice 2# trout!!! The wind was 20MPH the water was muddy but these guys had a great positive attitude and that never say die attitude filled the box on a tough day!!!

May 13,2007 Alex E. & Friends Limit on Big Lake Bronze Beauties & More!!! On their first trip to Louisiana these guys took home the bronze! The Redfish were on fire eating  live shrimp and even some topwaters filling  the cooler with a nice Redfish limit plus several 3 # Trout and some Nice Flounder to make for a Slam of a Day on Lake Calcasieu!!!!

May 11, 2011 Walter H. & Friends Catch a Mess of Big Lake Beauties on Live Shimp in 25MPH Winds!!! Plus Everyone had a SLAM! (Trout, Red & Flounder) Even throwing Corks & Live Shrimp on a baitcast made it a challange these guys can fish!!!

May 8,2011 Rick H & Friends Catch the 2 & 3 lb. Calcasieu Beauties!!! It was their first trip fishing for Specks & Reds but won’t be their last. These guys caught on fast and had nice trout and reds eating their live shrimp and filling the cooler with Big Lake Bruts!

May 7, 2011 Rico F. and Fishing Friends Have a Big Lake Blast!!! The day started slow with a very low tide and pretty strong winds but as the day progressed the tide picked up and the bite was on. Rico led the way with several nice trout including a 22 inch 4 lb Lake Calcasieu beauty!  About noon the reds turned on and were eating up our live shrimp and we had to leave em biting!!!!
