October 14, 2009 Captain Tom & Friend Captain Bruce Catch A Nice Limit at 9:45 AM along with 4 nice Reds and a 2 # Flounder. This 4 # Plus Beauty fell to a super spook. The rest took Berkley Gulp Both on the top under a cork and on the bottom on a 1/4 oz Jig. The fishing is pretty good but with this big cold front dropping temps about 15 to 20 degrees should move the bait out of the shallow water and the trout will go on a Feeding Frenzy!!!!! Call & be a part of the great Big Lake Fall Action!!!!! 318-675-9114

October 11, 2009 Bill B, of Shreveport, and son Gilbert had to work a bit to catch their limit after a big front yesterday brought 15 to 20MPH winds to Lake Calcasieu. We started the day early catching some nice Reds on 3″ Berkley Gulp New Penny Shrimp and had to cover a lot of water untill we hit the jackpot and filled the cooler with trout using Berkley Gulp Swimming Mullet under a cork. The front dropped the water temp to 72* and the fish are feeling the urge to fatten up for winter.
